Humble Choice December 2021 Review – Ending the year with style

I’m Kinglink and it’s the end of the year, which means it’s the Humble Choice December 2021 Review. 

It’s been a great year, and we’re ending on a massive bundle, but before we get into that, I just want to say two personal things.   First, I broke 3000 subscribers and I’m staggered, so I want to thank all of you for subscribing from the bottom of my heart.  I quite literally couldn’t hit that goal without any of your support. 

Second,  I’ve created a discord server. It’s called The Roundtable, and if you’re interested check the description, or possibly the pinned comment, and let’s get that server going.  I’ll talk more about it at the end but I wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Humble Choice November 2021 Review – Well that’s different…

I’m Kinglink and it’s November 2021, so of course it’s time for the Humble Choice November 2021 Review. 

So this month is a little odd… Normally there are 12 games to titles to choose from, but this month, for some reason, Humble has released the newest choice with only 10, though you get all ten.  It’s something I’ve been asking for.  I was hoping that instead of throwing in random cheap titles to get their numbers up, fewer titles could be higher quality.  Did it work out that way? Let’s see. 

I know some people will immediately dismiss this bundle and I get it.  I thought this was a joke at first, and still question it, but give me under twenty minutes and I’ll see if I can find some value in here for you.

PGA Tour 2K21. I think a lot of people are expecting me to tear into this game.  But that’s not what I do,  PGA Tour 2K21 is a golf game and that could be my review. It perfectly bookends every point I would make about this game.

I’m Kinglink and that’s right, it’s time for the Humble Choice August 2021 Review. 

It’s my birthday month, and as a present, I got a Humble Choice with 2 games I already own.  But that’s not a bad thing because they’re two of my favorite games and I get a chance to discuss them.  It may even have changed my opinion on one. 

As always I play the Humble Choice games for one hour, and compile my opinions, who I think should play them or enjoy them and who should skip.  With that said, let’s get started with the first game I already own, and the biggest game this month.

Humble Choice April 2021 Review – A wide variety.

I’m Kinglink, and it’s time for the Humble Choice April 2021 Review.  

This month I’ve played each game for one hour over three nights on stream, and we’ll talk more about that at the end, but it’s given me a chance to find out what each game is about and if I can recommend it.  There are 13 titles, so let’s just dive straight in.  Starting with…

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts.  This feels like a mixture between Sniper Elite, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Hitman, and that mix is pretty good.  It has extremely detailed bullet physics and large open world designs for its mission areas.

Humble Choice March 2021 Review – Big headliners, but not much else.

I’m Kinglink and I’m here to review the Humble Choice for March 2021. 

So there are a couple of changes for this month.  First, the bundle now releases on the first Tuesday of the month, instead of the first Friday.  Not a major change to anyone except for people trying to review the games, but something to keep an eye on. 

Second, we have one game that’s available on your choice of platform, either Epic or Steam.  That’s at least a choice, and something I can get behind if that becomes the standard because it’s a net positive

But with that said, we’re using the same rules as always.  One hour with each game, I’ll give you my opinions and recommendation if you should pick up the game based on who will enjoy it.

A look at the first year of Humble Choice, and what’s going on with Humble Bundle

I’m Kinglink and I think it’s time we take a moment and look back at Humble Choice.

The reason is Humble Choice came out a year ago and I’ve enjoyed reviewing the choice bundles. A year is a good point to do a retrospective and look at what has been put out over that period. Of course, if you want to know about any specific Humble Choice bundle, check my channel.

Humble Bundle has also continued to crank out other deals as well and when I look at reactions, I keep hearing the same thing. People are saying the bundles are getting worse.

To be upfront about it, I’m not a huge fan of a few things going on, and I think there’s a lot of issues with Humble that aren’t getting get talked about. While the bundle quality fluctuates, I think it is more indicative of larger issues going on.
