Game Pass October 2022 Review – Impressive games and an important update

I’m Kinglink and it’s the middle of October so it’s time for the Game Pass October 2022 review.

I’m back once again with 16 titles new to Game Pass with a focus on PC.  I’ve spent a night, about three to four hours on almost every game and now am ready to talk about it, what’s good, what’s bad, and who will like each title.

I am putting this video out before Plague Tale Requiem, and I really want to cover that game, but then this video would come out later than I wanted.  Don’t worry I’ll get it next month, and I have a good feeling that it’ll be another high-quality title.

I do have some news for the channel and this series, but I’m going to save that for the end so we can focus on what’s important here.

We’re going to start with a familiar title for this channel.   It’s a game I already have talked about this month, so let’s roll back time and go over it once more.

Game Pass April 2022 Review – A Lot of Story games

I’m Kinglink and it’s April, so it’s time to look at the Game Pass April 2022 Review.

Let me start by saying these images are a bit of a lie, or at the very least incomplete. These are the official list of games coming out from Microsoft. The problem is it doesn’t show the full number of games we’re going to be talking about, since they don’t appear on the images. Which includes the first title that’s going to be shown.

I’m torn on this. Getting more games is of course better, but the games that appear as a surprise make it hard to track what’s out on the service and what’s coming up. Though the fact that it means you have more of a reason to check out this video and the rest of my catalog is good for me at least. Still, the choices are great this month, though they do seem to focus on a certain type of game.

The response last month was positive so we’ll be continuing with a nice audio selection at the beginning of every game, hope you enjoy it.

Finally, the rules, I spend an evening with every game on this list, sometimes more than one, and now I’m here to tell you what I think of them, and who should check them out. Let’s get started with the game on the screen and a surprise release.

Game Pass March 2022 Review – Smaller selection, bigger titles

I’m Kinglink and it’s the second week of March so here’s the March 2022 Game Pass Review.

This month we have a smaller selection, but there are a couple of massive titles here which are worthy of your attention, at the same time, there is some variety between the Xbox and PC, as well as some cloud-only titles.  There were also a couple of surprise releases not on these lists.

I’ve already reviewed the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, not once but twice this year already, and it’s only March, it’s the best way to play that series.  However, it’s not radically new, so if you have played previously, it’s just the standard game.    Lawn Mowing Simulator has been delayed for the Xbox One so that is incorrect, but I reviewed it recently, and I enjoyed it as a simulator.  Finally, I don’t have anything to say about Super Mega Baseball 3, it was released 2 years ago already, but I did work on a competitor to it, and haven’t played it so we’ll leave that there.

But as normal I play all the titles on PC, and I’ll tell you what I think after a few hours of each, how the game is, who is it for, and who will enjoy them.  I’m also going to add in a little audio from the games to give you a flavor of them, it’s an experiment so let’s see how it goes.

Let’s just get started so you can see how it works, and we’ll start with what I thought was the biggest game this month…

Game Pass January 2022 Review – Starting the year with amazing indies

I’m Kinglink and it’s a couple of weeks into the new year so it’s time for the Game Pass January 2022 video.  2022, 2021… Ugh, not this again.  2022.. Ok, let’s do it.

This month we had 19 titles released, and while it’s a smaller month than December, I mean what month is going to live up to Halo Infinite, it’s still packed with games, and I found many more of the titles interesting and completed quite a few already.

At the same time there was massive news last week that may change Game Pass, but before we get there, let’s focus on this month first. We’ll start with…

Game Pass December 2021 Review Part 2 – Finishing 2021 with a few more games

I’m Kinglink and it’s time for the Game Pass December 2021 Review Part 2.

If you haven’t seen part 1, you can check the description, I’ll put a link there.  There were 13 lovely games to discuss. I also talked about Game Pass dropping Xbox Game Pass for PC, but as I said, I mostly cover all the Game Pass games, and again, Among Us is great with friends.  With that being said there are still 13 games to discuss and discover this month.

Before I begin, just a quick reminder, I now have a Discord Server, if you’re interested, check the link in the description or the pinned comment.  Let’s get on with the games.

Game Pass December 2021 Review – Another Mega Month.

I’m Kinglink and welcome back.  It’s almost the end of the year so it’s time to look at the Xbox Game Pass December 2021 Review…

Except wait… I normally play the Xbox Game Pass For PC, but that’s not a thing any more.  The thing is I try to look at all the games for Game Pass, though I currently only play on PC, so I’m going to think about what to call this, but for this month, this is the PC Game Pass December 2021 Review, or just the Game Pass December 2021 Review take your pick.

The two services as of now are so similar, the only real difference this month was Among Us, which is extremely fun with others, considering it reviewed.

Also just a heads up, I have a discord server called The Roundtable, please check the description or the pinned comments for more details.

With all that said, once again there are just too many games for one video this month.  So we are going to break this up once again because I don’t think anyone wants to hear me talking about games for forty minutes straight.  13 games this week, 13 games next week.  So let’s see what the first half had on tap.  Starting with.

November 2021 Game Pass Review – Forza and 17 more interesting titles

I’m Kinglink and it’s sort of the middle of November, so it’s the Xbox Game Pass November 2021 Review.

Xbox has released eighteen games for PC over this span which is quite a lot, luckily it’s not so much that I had to split this video up, but I’m still having a great time with this selection and there have been some massive games this month as well.  I’m sure some of you have heard of them.

But the thing is it’s the week before Thanksgiving and you know I always made these videos about the entire offering to see what I’m thankful for.  It’s really easy to just say “Forza, Age of Empires” and call it a day.  It certainly would make this process shorter, but the fact is I enjoy looking at the entire library, especially the indies.  So let’s look at everything that came out for the PC on Xbox Game Pass for the past 30 days or so.  Starting with…
