Humble Choice October 2024 Review – So Long and Thanks for All the Games.

I’m Kinglink and it’s October 2024. And this will be my final Humble Choice Review.

I mentioned at the end of the last video that I have been making Humble Choice Reviews for five years, as of September and so I’m making one last video for all of you. After that, I am not planning to continue the Humble Choice coverage on this channel. If you still want excellent reviews of the Humble Choice, please check out Stealthy Shiroen’s videos. I’ll try to add a card here, and a link in the description.

That being said, I still have to cover the Humble Choice October 2024 review, and you know what, this is ending with a major set of games.

One other piece of bad news, unfortunately there was an audio issue with at least with our first two games, the video won’t sound correct, however the audio did sound correct on my TV, so… There’s something going on but I don’t see any complaints about it so I’m assuming it’s a personal issue. There is enjoyable music still, but it’s lacking the central channel with the voice audio. I spent over two hours working on this. I’d work more on it, but with this being the last video. Ehh. we’ll live. These reviews have never been intended to be a Let’s Play, so check one of those if you want a better auditory experience.

Let’s get started with what’s on the screen.

Game Pass November 2022 Review – 17 Hits and Misses

I’m Kinglink and it’s almost turkey day here in America, so it’s time for the Game Pass November 2022 Review.

This one is a bit late but, as you’ll see in the lists of games, I wanted to cover Pentiment and that came out on the 15th.  The good news is I have that and many others, so we talk about all of these titles, and even give a hint of what’s coming up, but that’s for later.

Normally I play only the PC games, but give me a moment here, and let me call out Vampire Survivors, I’ve covered it previously on the series, and I remember I said you should buy it even if it’s on Game Pass.  It’s 5 dollars on Xbox and I still believe that it’s worth it.  It’s a lot of fun, so console gamers, you have the chance, check that game out, I will guarantee you’ll enjoy it, and good luck hunting me down if you don’t.

This month I haven’t played all of these games as much.  While I do sit down with these titles for a night, quite a few of them are games I’ve played previously, or stopped for various reasons, we’ll get into the why when applicable, but I have had some great experiences, let’s start with what’s on the screen, perhaps the biggest release of the month.

Persona 4 Golden: Design Review – A JRPG that hides a major dating simulator

Hello, I’m Kinglink and this week we’re doing a Design Review on Persona 4 Golden.

If you’re new to the channel, this is a design review. Rather than just saying the graphics, story, and gameplay are good and assigning an arbitrary score to the game, I look deeper at the gameplay systems and try to analyze what works and could be improved on in a game, usually using examples. Persona 4 Golden though is a massive game so there’s a lot to talk about with just it so I’m going to mostly focus on this one game this week.
