We return once again to the land of Danganronpa. I’ve already covered the original Danganronpa and Danganronpa 2 which left two more games for me to cover. This time around we are looking at a title originally launched on the Vita, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls.
The Messenger has continued to be heralded as an important Metroidvania and Platformer of last year, as a fan of both genres it has remained on my radar, and finally, I had an opening and picked up The Messenger and have now played through it. So is it actually a great Metroidvania and Platformer? Let’s see.
So with just reviewing Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, I wasn’t sure if I should cover Wolfenstein: Youngblood back to back, but after playing the newest Wolfenstein I actually changed my mind, It felt right to cover Youngblood for a few reasons, but ultimately, I think as a cautionary tale of being careful of what you wish for.
Surviving Mars is a new city builder, though obviously with a large twist. Rather than trying to build a working city on Earth, using the normal process with streets, zoning, and more, Surviving Mars brings the entire genre to Mars and focuses more on maintaining a living world rather than trying to optimize the city itself. It’s a different city or base builder, but is it a better one?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released last year to a big fanfare, it was a major release as part of the Kickstarter campaign for a new game heavily focused on realism that started in 2014, though while it missed it’s release date of 2015 by a couple of years, it seemed to deliver on what was promised. But how is the game itself?

It’s a fresh new look at the alternate history that the New Order started us on with a version of post World War II where the Nazis won. It’s not just about the rules the game makes, but rather how you deal with them, change them, and make your own rules. This is Baba is You.
The yearly Call of Duty came out in October of last year and Activision finally changed up the formula in a shocking new way. Black Ops 4 stands out from the Call of Duty Franchise because of how different it is to what people have come to expect from the franchise. However, different in this case may be the problem.
