Humble Monthly Bundle Early Unlock Wrap Up for May 2019

Humble Monthly Bundle has taken it easy this month, giving only 2 games to cover this month, and yet, the size of the first one was so massive it took me most of this month. However I’ve created a quick recap video as always to summarize both games and then I’ll go into more detail down below.  Enjoy.

While I had second thoughts about last month’s bundle, delivered in May.   We start with an origin story.

Assassin’s Creed Origins: An excellent entry in the famous Assassin’s Creed series, this game is extremely fun, and at a bargain price of 12 bucks, there’s not a lot of reason to skip this one.  I easily got over 30 hours out of it and so much of the game is enjoyable.  There’s some flaws, but they don’t really ruin the experience in the least.

However, for people who only care about “Steam games”.  This key is given as a uPlay key.  You’re not able to get a Steam version of Assassin’s Creed Origins out of this.

Wandersong: A fun little game where you play a bard exploring a world, using your voice to solve all of life’s woes.  Of course a calamity is happening (when isn’t it) and you have to save the world, armed only with your voice, and a cantankerous witched named Miriam.  Good luck.

So with both games reviewed with links available right there, let’s talk about the bundle itself.

Like I said, this is one of the strongest bundles there’s been.  Assassin’s Creed: Origins is a great game, and it’s worth checking out.  There is some DLC and microtransactions in it, but you’ll get over 30 hours out of Origins with out a problem and with out paying more.   Wandersong is a little weaker, just due to length, but both games are worth 12 bucks, and there’s guaranteed to be even more in the reveals.

If I was underwhelmed last month, I’m the opposite, this bundle is a strong recommendation for me, and I think it’s an easy pickup.

If you are interested in the Humble Monthly Bundle, here’s a link.  I’m once again excited to see what comes next month and of course I’ll be back again to review that as well.

Until then, thanks for reading.
