Humble Monthly Bundle Early Unlocks Previews for October 2019

Hello again,

It’s a new month and here once again to talk about the new Humble Monthly Bundle Early Unlocks.  This month looks like a simple one, with only one unlock but it is a meaty game that will likely take a decent amount of my time.  Let’s talk about it.  It’s BattleTech.

BattleTech is combine two interesting categories.  Battle tech is a strategy video game, based off a strategy board game, and does a good job at having an interesting strategy with it.  But the board game itself is also the basis for Mechwarrior and combining these two ideas into one product makes for a really interesting game.

This is a rather beefy game, and while it might not be the headliner that some people were hoping for, it will easily take most players at least 50-60 hours from what I’ve seen.  It’s entertaining as well.  If you’ve ever played Mechwarrior, this feels like a more strategic version, but you still have the ability to “Alpha Strike” an enemy and blast them to pieces.

The big thing though is this feels perfect for Humble Monthly Bundle, it’s a title I think most people aren’t familiar with and it plays well, just deserving a lot more attention, and hopefully it lives up to what I’ve seen so far.

While the story is iffy, I think it will shape up and the gameplay has me interested, I’m a little sad I’ve to work on a new review because I’m excited to get back to Battletech and see what happens next in the game.

If you are interested in my coverage of Battletech or future Humble Monthly Bundles, you might want to subscribe to either my website, which you can follow on the right column to get email notifications of what’s coming next or subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Until then.  Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back shortly with more.
