Humble Monthly Bundle Early Unlocks Previews for May 2019

Hello all,

It’s the beginning of April 2019, which means it’s time for the Humble Monthly Bundle Unlocks. for May 2019… odd how that works.

This month we have a big one.  Assassin’s Creed: Origins.  This time we’re going to find the origins of the original Assassins, at least I assume so based on the title.  There’s a single game so far this month so I have a single video to cover it but it makes this process a little easier on me.

Asscreed Preview

Similar to last month, we have flat video and voice over so I can talk a little more about the mechanics.  I played more of the game before recording the video so I go a little deeper into the game, let’s talk about it.

Assassin’s Creed: Origin

This is one of the more recent games in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and while Odyssey has come out last year, Origins is only 2 years old.  It takes the Assassin’s Creed formula and adds in Level based gameplay and Microtransactions (yeah, not all improvements are good).  But still has an interesting story and universe.   Watch the video and I’ll talk more about what you can expect in Assasin’s Creed: Origins.

I should mention that the copy of Assassin’s Creed: Origin you receive this month activates on uPlay, you do not get a Steam key for Assassin’s Creed Origins, so be aware of that.

In addition, I should have a review of the game in a couple of weeks, I’ll probably wait until the end of the month to do a final review of the bundle, in the hopes that I’ll catch the Early Reveal in case one is planned to come out.

I hope you enjoyed this preview, and I’m glad to get this article out in only a couple of days so it can be a little timelier.  May 2019 looks like it’s going to be a great month, and so far, Assassin’s Creed: Origin has left me quite surprised.   If you do want to see my review of Origins,  subscribe to either my website on the right column to get email notifications of what’s coming next or on my Youtube channel.

Until then.  Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back shortly with more.
