Slay the Spire – Review – Just one more run… just one more

Slay the Spire is a unique game, it combines rogue-lite experiences with a repetitive and randomized dungeon, along with the ideas of deckbuilding which are popular in some Euro board games. It can be somewhat similar to Dominion, while still retaining a dungeon crawler and succeeds at getting the feeling to combine into a unique game.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood – Review – Another disappointing entry into Wolfenstein lore

So with just reviewing Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, I wasn’t sure if I should cover Wolfenstein: Youngblood back to back, but after playing the newest Wolfenstein I actually changed my mind, It felt right to cover Youngblood for a few reasons, but ultimately, I think as a cautionary tale of being careful of what you wish for.

It’s a new month and here I am to talk about the new Humble Monthly Bundle Early Unlocks.  I’m doing this back to back with my review, but don’t worry I have a wealth of content coming, Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be reviewed soon, I have something else in the works and even a review of the Messenger is right around the corner. 

But let’s talk about the Early Unlocks. 

This is an interesting month.  Slay the Spire is a major game, and one I have been looking forward to playing eventually.  Well I guess that time is now.  The other game, Squad is an interesting game but probably not my style.  Still let’s look at both of them. Read More »
