7 Days to Die Review

Played on Windows.
Also available on Linux, macOS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

We come to the end of the Humble Monthly Bundle for November 2018. The last Early access game is 7 Days to Die, an Early access that has in Early Access since 2013. It’s a Zombie Survival, with an emphasis on Tower Defense and building rather than just scavenging. So the real question is, how is it?

Hitman Review

Played on Windows.
Also Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux, macOS

Hitman, a series I’ve wanted to like since it launched, but still have not found the right game in the series. Well, it’s time to tackle another one. We come to Hitman or Hitman 2016 if you want to differentiate it from the other Hitman game from 2000. This is the IO Interactive’s attempt at episodic content. Let’s see how they did.

Humble Monthly Bundle Early Unlock Wrap Up for September 2018

Hello again,

Welcome to my wrap up of the Humble Monthly Bundle for September 2018.

This month there were three games again in the Early Unlock system. However there was a little twist, in that a previous month’s game (October 2017) I’ve reviewed the three games, Staxel, Sniper Elite 4, and Tales of Berseria as you can see below and will discuss Rise of the Tomb Raider as well. You can read the reviews through these links, as well as see the videos below. If you prefer videos consider subscribing to the Youtube channel, as that’s the fastest way to learn about next month’s Humble Monthly Bundle Reviews as well as anything else I’m playing.

Tales of Berseria Review

Played on Windows.
Also Available on PlayStation 4 (PlayStation 3 JP only)

So we finally end the Humble Monthly Bundle for September 2018, with one of the longest games I’ve ever played. This is Tales of Berseria.

So I published a review of Tales of Zesteria on May 5th, 2018 and I was a bit savage. It was a good game and I recommended it, but it had so many flaws that I pointed most of them out. Tales of Berseria is a follow up to it and was published the following year, only about 18 months after Zesteria, and for such a large game that should be a big warning sign. Yet, that’s what Bandai Namco did, so it’ up to me to find out if it paid off?

Humble Monthly Bundle September 2018 First Looks

Hello all,

It’s another wonderful month, and this month we have three different Early Access games. Just like last month, I’m going to gather my First Looks for all three games in one post. I’ve already reviewed Staxel, and am currently prepping my Sniper Elite 4 review. I will be honest, my Tales of Berseria review might be delayed a few days, due to the size and scope of the game and I wish to finish it to give it a correct score.Read More »

Staxel review

Played on Windows

It’s that time of the month, it’s about half way through the month, which means it’s time to look at the Humble Monthly Bundle for September 2018. We have three games this month, Staxel, Sniper Elite 4 and Tales of Berseria, which I’ll tackle in that order. I am going to up the priority on Humble Monthly Bundle so it’ll knock a few reviews out of order, but I will try to maintain the order after I get these out of the way.

So when looking at Staxel and I saw that it was called a 3d multiplayer farming simulator. I also noticed the art style and I said what everyone has probably said about this game. “It’s Minecraft meets Stardew Valley?” The fact is, I don’t think it’s possible to avoid that comparison and we’ll get there for sure. At the same time, it’s in the Humble Monthly Bundle and has been in Early Access for seven months so let’s see what there is in this game.

Conan Exiles Review

Played on Windows.
Also Available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

So Conan Exiles is the third game of the Humble Monthly Bundle for August 2018, and it’s time for me to tackle it. I wasn’t sure about Conan Exiles. It gave me a roller coaster of emotions. I love Arnold Schwarzenegger, and he was Conan, that’s good. But this isn’t Arnold’s version. That’s bad. But this is still Conan, “What is Best in life?” That’s good. But this is a survival game… that’s bad at least for me. Still, I’m going to tackle this game as best as I can and the fact that it only came out a couple months ago is interesting.
